OREANDA-NEWS. DTEK Dneproblenergo, DTEK Donetskoblenergo and DTEK High-Voltage Power Networks have established 24/7 anti-crisis energy crews for emergency response. Their objective is to promptly fix electric networks in Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions to ensure stable power supply to the citizens and plants in emergencies.

DTEK formed the crews as required by the National Electricity Regulatory Committee to:

supply electric power to consumers

explain all emergencies issues duly and on time

protect power consumer rights, advise and help clients.

The power engineers of DTEK Donetskoblenergo and DTEK HV Power Networks are daily restoring power transmission lines in Donbass. Since 17 May, DTEK has returned light to over 500,000 people from 70 localities in Donetsk oblast thanks to 600 engineers of DTEK Donetskoblenergo, DTEK HV Power Networks and DTEK ENE. The crew of DTEK Dneproblenergo joined them in July to help restoring the networks destroyed by hostilities.

On 19 August, DTEK power engineers made the most extensive repair over the whole period of their emergency engagement. They returned electricity to 330,000 residents of Yenakiyevo, Zugres, Khartsyzsk, Gorlovka, Makeyevka and Krasnogorovka towns. They also powered major industrial plants and the infrastructure facilities of Donetsk oblast: filtering stations in Donetsk and Makeyevka, Yenakiyevo Coke Plant, six mines in the oblast including Ukraine's biggest one - Komsomolets Donbassa Mine. Over the recent three months, DTEK engineers had to provide power to certain towns for several times.

In July, DTEK established an Anti-Crisis Centre in Zaporozhye. Its key mission is to ensure stable operation of DTEK's energy and coal businesses located in the battle areas in Lugansk and Donetsk oblasts.
