OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2014. In order to meet the increased demand for high-speed passengers trains in late August 2014, Russian Railways is laying on additional Sapsan trains between Moscow – St. Petersburg – Moscow.

Train No. 767 Saint Petersburg – Moscow will run on 24 and 31 August 2014, departing from St. Petersburg at 19:35 and arriving in Moscow at 23:35 on the same day.

Train number 768 Moscow – St. Petersburg will operate on 25 August and 1 September 2014, departing from Moscow at 07:15 and arriving in St. Petersburg at 11:00 the same day.

Train Nos. 767 and 768 will make no stops en route.

Tickets for these trains will go on sale in the near future.

Russian Railways usually appoints additional trains during the summer peak season and public holidays in order to meet higher passenger demand.

Sapsan seats can be booked at all ticket offices selling tickets for long-distance trains, as well as through the official website of Russian Railways.
