OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2014. VTB Bank has signed a credit agreement for RUB 500 million with Irkutsk’s Municipal Unitary Enterprise (MUP) Vodokanal to help it build, maintain and upgrade its fixed assets.

Mikhail Oseevskiy, Deputy President and Chairman of VTB Bank Management Board, said: “Under its programme of investment into Irkutsk’s water supply and disposal systems for 2011-2015, MUP Vodokanal is planning several measures to be funded both from the company’s own resources as well as borrowings.

“VTB Bank has supported the plans to modernise Irkutsk’s oldest public utility company. I am sure that this project will help develop the town’s municipal infrastructure and improve the quality of life of local residents.”
