OREANDA-NEWS. September 04, 2014. PT Pertamina (Persero) states that since the implementation of the normalization of supply, around 95 percent of gas stations (SPBUs) have operated normally without queues.

Pertamina Corporate Communication Vice President Ali Mundakir said that after distributing subsidized fuels around 30 percent above the daily quota and optimization of non-subsidized fuels distribution, customers were gradually calm and almost all gas stations operated without queues. According to him, if there were still queues, it was more dominated by motorcycles and could still be considered normal.

“Based on our observation on the progress of the normalization, around 95 percent of gas stations have been queue free. The remaining still sees queues, but still in normal category. Generally, the queues are mostly motorcycles,” Ali explaine.

Pertamina, he continued, still distributed fuels above the normal quota to ensure that there would be no long queues at gas stations. To customers, Ali expected that they bought fuels based on their normal needs.

“We hope that customers buy fuels based on their normal needs because Pertamina has ensured the availability of both subsidized and non-subsidized fuels,” he said.
