OREANDA-NEWS. From September 1, 2014, the Tulomskiye HPP Cascade and the Serebryanskiye HPP Cascade were merged into one subdivision of JSC TGC-1, namely, the Tulomskiye and Serebryanskiye HPP Cascade. The merger became the final stage of transition to the rotating scheme of maintenance of the power plants in the towns of Teriberka and Tumanny.

With six power plants under the same management, the Cascade is the biggest at JSC TGC-1 with total installed capacity reaching 837.5 MW.

“All the experience that has been gained at the two cascades will be used and implemented at the new Tulomskiye and Serebryanskiye HPP Cascade,” said Igor Patsan, Director of the Cascade. “The maintenance scheme of the Serebryanskiye and Teriberskiye HPP will not change; for already a year the management of the Serebryanskiye HPP Cascade has been done remotely, and professionals come to the plants according to a schedule. There will be a new work scheme for operation of the power plants on the Tuloma river; all the functions will be centralized in the same subdivision, which will improve the control and manageability of the processes.”

The implementation of the rotating scheme has made it possible to solve the human resources problem and find professionals to work in remote villages who find the rotating scheme convenient and attractive. Employees are offered delivery to the workplace, comfortable accommodation, and meals at the company hotel in Tumanny and the production and household building in Teriberka.
