OREANDA-NEWS. Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Toyota Housing Corporation, Tokyu Land Group company PT. Tokyu Land Indonesia, and major Indonesian conglomerate Lippo Group announced that they have completed the hotel-residence AXIA SOUTH CIKARANG in Indonesia and will open the facility on September 27, 2014 (Saturday). The companies held an opening ceremony on September 18, 2014 (Thursday).

In March 2013, the four companies established the joint venture PT. TTL Residences to develop and operate hotel-residences in order to support Japanese companies expanding in Indonesia by providing lodging and residence facilities and services for long-term expatriates and business travelers. AXIA SOUTH CIKARANG offers 180 residences comprising 177 tower apartments and three detached residences. The services include a 24-hour Japanese-language concierge desk and transportation services between the residence and workplaces and airports, along with a Japanese restaurant, a Japanese food supermarket, a large public bath and sauna, gym and pool. The hotel-residence is conveniently located within walking distance of shopping malls, a diverse mix of restaurants and stores, as well as medical facilities.

The number of Japanese companies expanding into Indonesia has grown rapidly in recent years. There is a particular shortage of lodging and residential facilities in the eastern industrial area around Lippo Cikarang district. Commuting from Jakarta to the district is time-consuming due to chronic traffic congestion.

With the motto "Home away home; combining Indonesian comfort with Japanese hospitality," AXIA SOUTH CIKARANG aims to solve the residential challenges of long-term Japanese expatriates and business travelers by providing comfort and peace of mind through an immaculate environment filled with high-quality services.

PT. TTL Residences combines the project planning, marketing and other trading company expertise of Toyota Tsusho, the housing business know-how of Toyota Housing, Tokyu Land Group's nearly 40 years of real estate development experience in Indonesia, and the real-estate development capabilities of local major conglomerate Lippo Group. The joint venture will leverage these combined capabilities to contribute to the growth of Indonesia's economy through the development of the hotel-residence business.
