OREANDA-NEWS. On September 26 at 15:00 the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant will present to the residents an environmental report on the results of work, undertaken in the field of environmental safety and environmental performance in 2013, in the building of Sosnovy Bor city administration.

Presentations will be made by the head of the LNPP environment department Valentin Oleinik, head of LNPP radiation safety Sergey Petrov, as well as head of the city administration natural resources department Natalia Malevannaya.

The leaders of the city administration, environmental organizations, MPs, as well as everyone from Sosnovy Bor were invited for the meeting . Upon completion of the presentation an opportunity to ask questions to experts and to make suggestions for further improvement of environmental performance will be provided.

The presentation starts on 26 September at 15:00, in the city administration building, auditorium (2nd floor).

The Leningrad nuclear power plant is JSC "Rosenergoatom Concern" branch. The station is located in the city Pine Pine forest, in 80 km to the west of St. Petersburg on the bank of the Finland Gulf. The Leningrad NPP is the country's first station with RBMK-1000 reactors (uranium - graphite nuclear reactors of channel type on thermal neutrons). 4 power units by electric capacity of 1000 MWt everyone are operating on the nuclear power plant.
