OREANDA-NEWS. Bank “Finance and Credit” was first to bring 10 into Ukraine.

Being the all-time leader in importing foreign currency, Bank “Finance and Credit” has brought into Ukraine the first shipment of 10 euro banknotes of the new design, which are totally worth € 20 thousand.

To recap, the new € 10 banknote was introduced into circulation by the European Central Bank on September 23, 2014.

The new notes are now more resistant to wear and have enhanced security features which offer better protection against counterfeiting: a series of short raised lines on the left and right edges which are a new security feature.

Old notes of 10 euro still remain legal tender but will be gradually taken out of circulation.

As of 24.09.2014 Bank “Finance and Credit” imported €49.650 million, USD 418.380 million in the territory of Ukraine.

Bank “Finance and Credit” was established in 1990 and ranks among the largest banks by the volume of assets according to the NBU classification. The authorised capital of the Bank made up UAH 2.8 billion.

As of 01.09.2014 the network of Bank “Finance and Credit” consists of 297 agent locations operating throughout Ukraine.
