OREANDA-NEWS. On September 27, 2014 at 20:01 MSK the Kursk NPP power unit №4 was restarted after routine maintenance.

At the power unit maintenance operations were performed, the annual schedule of maintenance and repair of equipment were provided.

The power unit inclusion was made in accordance with the requirements of technological regulations and instructions.

There are power units No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 in work at the moment. They work at the capacity established by the dispatching schedule.

The radiation background on the nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.

The Kursk NPP as part of the JSC "Rosenergoatom Concern" is in the electricity division of the State Corporation "Rosatom". The station is located 40 km south-west of the city Kursk on the left bank of the Seym.
