OREANDA-NEWS. Held in London from 10 to 12 September 2014, the 39th World Nuclear Association (WNA) Symposium saw TENEX's General Director Lyudmila M. Zalimskaya elected to the organisation's Board of Management.

The World Nuclear Association is the most representative international organisation, which brings together producers and consumers of nuclear fuel cycle products and services, as well as engineering, reactor-building and transport companies operating in the nuclear industry. Every year it holds international symposia and conferences and publishes analytical reports and long-term forecast for the development of the global nuclear industry and uranium market.

The WNA's Board of Management sets the association's strategic objectives and defines its work plan. It is comprised of 20 members, including representatives of the world's largest companies engaged in the nuclear fuel cycle. State Corporation Rosatom is represented on the Board by Kirill B. Komarov, Deputy CEO for Corporate Development and International Business.

TENEX has been a member of the World Nuclear Association since 1991.
