OREANDA-NEWS. The Forum has been organized by ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. under the support from the Government of the Trans-Baikal Territory. More than a hundred existing and potential suppliers familiarized themselves with requirements of the Russian legislation and the Unified Industry Procurement System of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation and discussed interaction and cooperation prospects.

“Our aim is to promote competition; attract a larger number of suppliers; ensure informational openness and facilitate transparency of the companies' procurement activities. Indeed, the more suppliers participate in tendering for each individual position, the more chances we have to receive high-quality goods and services for minimal prices following the results of tendering procedures,” noted Ivan Bondar, Procurement Director of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation's mining arm.

Enterprises of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation's mining arm, operating in the Republic of Buryatia and the Trans-Baikal Territory, presented their procurement programmes for 2015 at the Forum. In particular, the JSC PIMCU Procurement Programme will amount to more than RUB 6 bln, while those of JSC Khiagda and JSC RUSBURMASH - to more than RUB 2 bln and RUB 300 mln, respectively.

Following the Forum results, it may be suggested that the number of goods and services suppliers from the Trans-Baikal Territory and the Republic of Buryatia, who participate in the unified electronic platform of the atomic industry at <http://zakupki.rosatom.ru>, will triple against last year. Moreover, a regional discussion platform, enabling informational and business cooperation between small and medium businesses, was created.
