OREANDA-NEWS. According to the preliminary data, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) international reserve totaled USD 2 701.2 million as of September 30, 2014 that is by USD 6.7 million less than the index of August 30, 2014 - told in the NBG.

The international reserve, converted in foreign currency, totaled USD 2 487.8 million, including that floated as securities - USD 1 511.9 million, as well as that on the accounts of foreign banks and International Monetary Fund (IMF) - USD 975.9 million. The amount of funds placed in SDR totaled USD 213.3 million, while reserve position with IMF totaled USD 14.8 thousand.

Since the beginning of the year, the NBG international reserve has dropped by USD 122.2 million.
