OREANDA-NEWS. October 22, 2014. The experts of the FBK Economic and Law School are successfully carrying out the next stage of the “Russian Federation: Financial Education and Financial Literacy Project”.

Field workshops were held for the training of tutors in different regions of Russia. The training was held on Krasnodar, Archangelsk, Barnaul, Stavropol, Tomsk, Volgograd, and Saratov.

In the process of training the tutors – the would-be teaches in the basics of financial literacy – received the sets of training materials prepared by the ELS as well as audio aids on different aspects of personal funds management that they will be able to use when conducting their classes.

“We have been implementing the financial literacy program for about two years”, noted Sergey Pyatenko, FBK Economic and Law School Director, Doctor of Economic Sciences. “We have already conducted the events in 7 cities and we plan holding several more workshops in different regions of the country in the near future”.

The “Russian Federation: Financial Education and Financial Literacy Project” is by request of Foundation for Enterprise Restructuring and Financial Institutions Development on behalf of the Russian Federation Ministry of Finance.
