OREANDA-NEWS. The net profit of the state-owned Belarusian company OAO Belaruskali grew 4.5 times on the year in January-June 2013 to Br3.502 billion, which makes an equivalent of USD 329.139 million, according to the Q2 report of the Finance Ministry's Department for bonds and securities.

Belaruskali's revenues reached 13.465 trillion rubles in January-June 2014 (USD 1.265 million, up 50% on year).

The state-owned Belarusian company OAO Belaruskali is one of the world's largest manufacturers of potash fertilizers, employing 18,491 personnel. It operates the Starobinskoye potash salts deposit and comprises four mine groups, auxiliary shops and support units.

Belaruskali controls 16% of the world's potash fertilizer market.

The government of Belarus is the only shareholder of the company. The statutory capital of Belaruskali is made up of 1.718 million shares with a face value of Br7.988 million (USD 750.77).
