OREANDA-NEWS. In the first 9 months of 2014 UTair Group aircraft transported a total of 8,348,651 passengers, marking a 12.43% increase over the same period in 2013. Passenger turnover for the Group reached 17,794,363,770 pkm, with 3.46% growth in domestic flight operations and a 46.16% increase in international operations.

Passenger load factor for the Group reached 81.88%, a 3.45% increase over the same period in 2013. The volume of UTair Group postal deliveries increased by 71.07% and reached 3,644.03 tons.

UTair Group helicopters logged a total of 111,642 flight hours. UTair Group helicopters delivered 70,601.36 tons of cargo and transported 529,696 passengers.

The growth of these performance indicators reflects the successful integration of Impulse, a UTair efficiency improvement program aimed at optimizing the airline's route network and fleet management. Interim results demonstrate the program's viability and timeliness.

According to preliminary estimates, it is expected that the implementation of the Impulse program will reduce UTair production costs by 10 billion rubles by the end of 2015.
