OREANDA-NEWS. Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe*, today announced further expansion in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The airline will deploy 1 new Airbus A320 aircraft in Tuzla in June 2015 when Tuzla will become Wizz Air's 19th base. For the Tuzla base the airline announced new routes to Munich Memmingen and Oslo Torp, commencing on 26 June 2015, as well as to Frankfurt Hahn and Stockholm Skavsta commencing on 28 June 2015.

With these new services Wizz Air is now offering a total of 9 routes to 5 countries from Tuzla.

Wizz Air's major expansion in Tuzla will further stimulate the job market in the aviation and tourism sectors with more visitors now able to travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wizz Air's low fare services. Speaking at a press conference in Tuzla today, Gyorgy Abran, Chief Commercial Officer of Wizz Air, said: "Today is another major step forward for Wizz Air in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We started our operations in Tuzla in May 2013 and already carried over 180,000 passengers to date. The new Tuzla base will create a number of local jobs with Wizz Air and our local business partners. Bosnia and Herzegovina is becoming our 11th country where we have established base operations.
