OREANDA-NEWS. These days NIBULON's agrarians have finished harvesting of late grain crops - ahead by a month in comparison with previous years.

Thus, there was finished a long yield marathon which successful beginning was arranged by the company's agrarians last autumn. Winter wheat that occupied 22.8 thousand ha was practically preserved. Due to mild winter, volumes of mineral fertilizers and plant protection means used on winter field were not reduced.

Due to modern agricultural machinery and agrarian work arrangement, the company's branches received more than 330 thousand tons of grain this season: 96.2 tons of winter wheat, more than 10 thousand tons of winter barley, more than 6 thousand tons of winter rapeseed, more than 160 thousand tons of corn, 24 thousand tons of sorghum, 7 thousand tons of soybean, more than 28 thousand tons of sunflower. This croppage has become one of the largest for the last five years; it is very close to the results of 2013. Increase is taken place on the total stable area under crops.

This year has been quite specific, according to NIBULON's production department, summer drought influenced late grain crops, but good results have been achieved due to risks dispersal. Gross yield of corn is record and comprises 162 thousand tons.

Deputy General Director of Agricultural Production Kostyantyn Khmelnytskyy noted that NIBULON's branches traditionally were the leaders in their regions by working results, and some branches (for example, "Chygyryn" branch, Cherkasy region) were absolute leaders by indices of crop capacity and croppage.

The maximal yield of winter wheat of 49.6 dt/ha was demonstrated by "Pryseymivs'ka" branch (Summy region); "Chygyryn" branch reached the highest gross yield of this crop - 10 thousand tons. RE "Lidiyivs'ke" (Mykolayiv region) showed the best crop capacity of winter barley - 40.4 dt/ha, and the best gross yield of winter barley of 2600 tons was demonstrated by "Prybuzhanivs'ka" branch (Mykolayiv region). "Mriya" branch (Khmelnytskyy region) received the highest crop capacity of winter rapeseed - 31.6 dt/ha; "Chygyryn" branch got the highest gross yield of winter rapeseed - 1.5 thousand tons. The highest figure of sorghum crop capacity of 53.4 dt/ha was achieved by "Kupayns'ka" branch (Kharkiv region); "Bilovods'ka" branch (Lugansk region) has the highest gross yield of this crop - more than 7 thousand tons. "Bilovods'ka" branch harvested 3300 thousand tons of sunflower, and "Pryseymivs'ka" branch has the highest crop capacity of sorghum - 30 dt/ha. Crop capacity of corn comprises 106.1 dt/ha at "Pryseymivs'ka" branch; "Kamyanets'-Podil's'ka" branch left behind other branches by gross yield - 22 thousand tons.

Concerning total results, "Chygyryn" branch is the best in gross yield of early grain crops; the branch received about 12 thousand tons of grain. Having harvested more than 25 thousand tons of late grain crops, "Kamyanets'-Podil's'ka" branch took leading position by this figure. This branch is an absolute leader in all gross figures - 36 thousand tons.

"It is important that we managed to improve economic component", mentioned Kostyantyn Khmelnytskyy. "At present net cost of crop production is lower than previous years. We have achieved this due to the improvement of tender systems; transitional residue at storages was reduced. Implementation of accurate agriculture elements and optimization of technological processes play a serious role. Savings on costs are achieved due to simultaneity of machinery driving, correctness of turns, GPS-navigation use, local application of fertilizers and plant protection means. Today we are moving this way actively.

Operation of technical and agricultural services of the company was strictly coordinated. They efficiently worked in the southern regions. Thus, they had time to relocate employees and machinery to the northern regions before optimal terms of harvesting. We practically did not involve outside machinery, except two harvesters. Totally, we managed to complete autumn field works ahead by a month.

Summarizing last season, NIBULON's agrarians take care of future yield, as we are tasked to increase grain production year after year. Weather characteristics of this sowing period, lack of soil humidity caused problems of specific complexity degree. But NIBULON's agrarians master reliable agrotechnical instruments and efficient methods of work arrangement. At present there are being signed contracts for delivery of seed grain of corn, sunflower, sorghum. Contracts need to be signed with world leaders of seed market by a new year. All crops of winter wheat must be preserved.

Calculations of mineral fertilizers and plant protection means are being performed. Probably, it will be necessary to stimulate growth of plants in severe winter. The company's employees are ready for any situations; they always have desire and opportunities to achieve high results.
