"Compared with the first half of the year in St. Petersburg it was almost completely changed the composition of the brands, which currently show a positive trend", - said the CEO of "Auto-Dealer-SPb", Michael Chaplygin. - "One of the reasons for this trend was the state program of parc renovation, which affect actively some brands this autumn. At the beginning of the year, by contrast, grew the brands that updated their flagship model, or had a low base in 2013".

At the end of winter and spring the growth was shown by Volkswagen, Skoda, Nissan, now - Renault, KIA, Lada. The only brand among the leaders, which throughout the year gives a small stable growth - is Toyota.

"As expected, the government program did not lead the market in plus, it only has adjusted its fall", - says Michael Chaplygin. - In November and December, another factor that will positively influence the market, will be a sharp rise in the exchange rate against the ruble. But it is not much impact the results for the year - the market in St. Petersburg will be reduced, according to our forecast, by 10%. "

The share of St. Petersburg in the total sales of new cars in Russia in the first ten months was 7.7%
