OREANDA-NEWS. Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan reached USD 3.061 billion in nine months of 2014.

According to the Uzbek side, the growth rate made up 25.7% compared to the same period of 2013.

Trade turnover between two states rose by 18% year-on-year in 2013 and reached USD 3.224 billion.

Uzbekistan exports to Kazakhstan fruits, vegetables, textile goods, transport means, services, fertilizers, construction materials, and others.

In its turn, Uzbekistan imports ferrous and nonferrous metals, fats and oils of animal and vegetable origin from Kazakhstan.

Currently, there are 177 enterprises with Kazakh investments in Uzbekistan.

At the same time, Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan accredited three Kazakh firms and companies. About 125 companies with Uzbek capital operate in Kazakhstan.
