OREANDA-NEWS. Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its seventeenth hypermarket in Saint-Petersburg.

The new store is a Lenta super compact format hypermarket located in Saint-Petersburg at 21A Verbnaya Street. The store has a total area of 5 505 sq.m, with 2,605 sq.m of selling space and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A broad product assortment of 12,000 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Primorsky district of Saint-Petersburg and includes Lenta's private label and federal product ranges alongside local produce. The store has 105 parking spaces and 20 cash registers. The property is owned by Lenta.

The opening of this hypermarket in Saint-Petersburg brings the total number of Lenta stores to 91 hypermarkets in 51 cities across Russia and 18 supermarkets in the Moscow region.
