OREANDA-NEWS. The EEC hosted a meeting between Viktor Khristenko, Chairman of the EEC Board, EEC Members of the Board (Ministers), and a delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic headed by Djoomart Otorbaev, Prime-Minister of Kyrgyzstan. Viktor Khristenko, Chairman of the EEC Board, and Djoomart Otorbaev, Prime-Minister of Kyrgyzstan discussed the key issues the solution to which will help Kyrgyzstan access to the Eurasian integration project. In particular, they discussed customs administration, Technical Regulation and customs-tariff and non-tariff regulation.

The Prime-Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Djoomart Otorbaev highly appreciated the work done jointly with the representatives of Kyrgyzstan, EEU Member-States' Governments and Departments of the Eurasian Economic Commission. According to the Prime-Minister, the negotiations were dynamic and substantial in regard to all key aspects. He confirmed Kyrgyzstan's intention to access the Eurasian integration project as soon as possible.

The EEC Board Chairman Viktor Khristenko emphasized that the Eurasian Economic Commission is ready to comprehensively support the tempo of work so that Kyrgyzstan would join the Eurasian economic integration as soon as possible.

December 2, a regular session of the Working Group for the accession of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Customs Union and Single Economic Space of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation in view of formation of the Eurasian Economic Union will be held. The session will be chaired by Member of the Board - Minister in charge of the Development of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tatiana Valovaya.
