OREANDA-NEWS. The Defence Procurement Procedure (DPP-2013) regulates the capital procurement of defence equipment. As per provisions of DPP-2013 equipment has to be procured from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)/Authorised Vendors / Government sponsored Export Agencies (applicable in the case of countries where domestic laws do not permit direct export by OEMs). Any changes in policy relating to procurements including issues relating to agents is effected through amendments in the Defence Procurement Procedure (DPP), which is reviewed from time to time.
