OREANDA-NEWS. Transaero Privilege, the airline's frequent flyer programme, has reached a new benchmark with the 900,000-th member joining the loyalty programme. Alexander Shapovalyuk, the resident of the Russia's Far East city Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky has become the lucky holder of the jubilee card.

Following the airline's tradition to congratulate each hundred thousandth member of the programme, Transaero has awarded Alexander Shapovalyuk with a certificate for a flight to Milan in business class with a stay in a five star hotel Armani Milano, located in the famous fashion district in Milan called 'Quadrilatero d'Oro' (golden square).

The number of the programme's participants is steadily growing with a rapid increase in membership seen by the end of the year. The new milestone has only been reached in four months since the congratulations of the 800,000th new member.

Under the programme's rules, any passenger over the age of 12 years can join Transaero Privilege. Awarding points are credited for travel on any Transaero's flight; for payments made by co-branded with Transaero Privilege bank cards; for using services provided by the companies-partners, for example, car rental companies or famous hotels.

Passengers can spend the earned points to get a reward ticket or an upgrade in class of service on the airline's flights, they also can receive priority servicing when booking tickets and during check-in.
