OREANDA-NEWS. Brand Voltas once again seized the prestigious and most coveted EFFIE Award for Effectiveness in Advertising, in the 'Best On-Going Campaign' category, for its sustained AC campaign featuring the much-loved Murthy. EFFIE being the gold standard for effectiveness in Marketing, Brand Voltas was up against entries from all product categories and industries. In this fiercely competitive arena, Voltas won the Silver Award, for its consistency of thought, and clutter-breaking execution.

Also nominated in this award category were big-budget FMCG and Telecom brands, amongst others: a line-up that included Bournvita, Cadbury Dairy Milk, IDEA, Vodafone, Tata Tea, Tata Sky and more.

The EFFIE Awards, from the Advertising Club of India, is regarded as the highest standard in measuring corporate India's effectiveness in marketing and communication. Voltas is no stranger to the EFFIE, having previously won the prize in 2013, for its first phase of 'All-Weather AC' campaign, in the Consumer Durables category. Since then this campaign has seen three phases, and the recent award is in recognition of its third phase.

Commenting on the occasion, Pradeep Bakshi, president & chief operating officer, unitary products business group, Voltas, said, "We are happy to be recognized by being awarded the prestigious EFFIE 2015. It showcases our commitment towards effectively communicating our value proposition. We would like to thank the entire team at Voltas, for their passion and dedication towards the brand; and in keeping the brand momentum alive. We look forward to greater achievements in the future."
