OREANDA-NEWS. Study of employee engagement was started on January 20 at the Balakovo NPP. Employees of various departments of the plant were needed to answer questions of anonymous questionnaire about various aspects of life in the company and the whole industry. The study will last three days and will cover nine hundreds employees of the Balakovo NPP. This means that the vision of the station will express every fourth employee.

Corporate research in this area has been held for the fifth year at all nuclear power plants "Rosenergoatom Concern". The goal is to determine the level of employees motivation to achieve the best results in their work. The study helps to understand, what matters to employees, to create a shared "environment", to establish effective exchange of information.

"It is said in the questionnaire, that you need to answer the questions honestly, and we do not need to boggle - said participant of the research Igor Lesnov, who works at turbine workshop №1. - I think, that all of us are proud to work at the best nuclear power plant of the country and understand their involvement in the common cause. I participate in the study with confidence - my opinion is really interested in."

Filling in the questionnaire, the employees give their own assessment of the company: the organization and working conditions, social security, the recognition of individual labor input, career opportunities and many other factors, that influence employee engagement.

Proceedings of the survey will be processed by independent experts. Results will come to the station in the form of summary analytical data. They will show, which factors influence involvement of managers of enterprises and should be paid special attention to and which directions, affecting the mood of the staff, should be just maintained.

"The leadership of the Balakovo NPP believes, it is important to hear, what excites personnel, to receive feedback on the creation of favorable work climate in the team - commented the research involvement the Head of the Staff Development at the Balakovo NPP Roman Mikhailov. - Studies of involvement are the same tool, that allows you to see an objective picture of what is happening. That is why many people should be involved into the survey - from workers to senior managers, from young professionals to veterans of nuclear energy. Everyone's opinion is important. "

The Balakovo NPP is considered to be one of the best nuclear power plants in terms of employee engagement not only among the concern, but also the whole industry - it has been one of the best employers in the country for several years. In the latest study, the level of involvement of the power plant staff was 84%.
