OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", parc of passenger cars at the beginning of 2015 was 40.9 million units, which is more by 3.8% than a year before. In this case, more than 70% were for the first "ten" brands.

The most solid share, more than a third of all passenger car parc of the country, is belonged to a domestic brand LADA (14,1 million units, the share is 34.5%). It leads with a wide margin. Toyota is in the second place (3,6 million units, 8.8%), the third is occupied by Nissan (1,8 million units, 4.5%). Chevrolet (1,5 million units, 3,7%), Hyundai (1,4 million units, 3,5%), Renault (1,3 million units, 3,2%), Volkswagen (1,3 million units, 3.1%) and Ford - 3% (1, 2 million units) have over 3% of the car parc. Kia (1,2 million units) and GAZ (1,2 million units) are completing the Top-ten with the share of 2.9% of the parc.

All the top-10 brands, with the exception of the brand GAZ, whose parc decreased by 14.9%, increased their parcs for 2014, some of them - more, others - less. Such brands as Kia (20,4%), Renault (18,7%), Hyundai (15,3%), Volkswagen (11,9%) and Nissan (10,7%) grew in a quantitative sense more than by 10%.
