OREANDA-NEWS. In 2014, the revenues of the company sales grew by 10%, up to 30.9 bln Rubles. The net profit of the company decreased from 2.6 bln Rubles to 2 bln Rubles due to an increase in prices for natural gas, benzene, phenol, electrical and heat energy. In addition, in 2014, unlike the previous, 2013 year, the company carried out major shut-down repairs, resulting in declination of the production output by most products, whereas the costs increased.

The output of major products was as follows:

- Ammonia - 575 kt, or 87.5% comparing with the results of 2013;

- Ammonium Nitrate - 549.2 kt (98%);

- Urea - 319.9 kt (91.8%);

- Ammonium Sulfate - 448.7 kt (95.2%);

- Caprolactam - 181.1 kt (96.7%);

- Polyamide-6 - 141.5 kt (104.8%);'

- Technical and Cord yarn - 15.1 kt (92.5%);

- Cord fabric - 6 kt (88.7%).

In 2014, JSC KuibyshevAzot actively carried out the projects that ensure a long-term development and preservation of the company market positions in an increasingly competitive environment. There was commissioned the production of dipped heat-treated cord fabric that allowed offering a more marketable product to consumers. There are completed general construction works and erection ones are carried out on the cyclohexanone energy efficient production unit under a license of the Dutch DSM Company. There are under way preparations for start-up and commissioning of an updated rectification stage in the caprolactam production unit. Industrial facilities for two joint ventures are under construction: the ammonia production facility is built with the German Linde Company and the air products facility is built with the American Praxair Corporation. There is also under construction a UKL-unit to increase the production of nitric acid and ammonium nitrate. For the purpose of improving production efficiency, increasing output and reducing the environment impact there was carried out a number of technical and environmental measures. The production of compacted ammonium sulfate was increased by 23%. There was put into operation a packing unit for this product. Consumption of benzene was reduced by 2.1%, hydrogen - by 11%, sodium hydroxide - by 4.2%. At the ammonium nitrate production facility there was carried out the main volume of construction and installation work on the juice steam condensate cooling unit. After its start, the volume of wastewater both in winter and summer will be reduced by 50 cubic meters per hour. At the soft nitric acid production facility there was carried out the reconstruction of the absorption column irrigation system. As a result, while raising the process efficiency by 2.5% and an increasing production of acid, ammonia content in the purified gas reduced by half. To reduce emissions at the urea production facility, there was completed assembly of ammonia acid trapping unit. At the ammonia production facility there was introduced automatic analysis of smoke fumes after the reformer that allowed to improve operation of the nitrogen oxides homogeneous cleaning unit, cut down ammonia wastage and reduce emissions into atmosphere.

In line with the strategy for import substitution and for an increase in processing of caprolactam and polyamide on the territory of Russia, there is under reconstruction subsidiaries of JSC KuibyshevAzot to improve the production of technical yarn, filament and cord fabric in Kursk and that of textile fabrics in Balashov (Saratov region). Due to the commissioning of new equipment, there was doubled the capacity of engineering plastics works in China - KuibyshevAzot Engineering Plastics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. These measures allow providing for a stable load of primary production facilities in Togliatti in the conditions of increasing competitive environment at foreign markets. In total, in 2014, for construction and technical re-equipment of JSC KuibyshevAzot there was spent 4.3 bln Rubles; there were overhauled factory objects in the amount of 2 bln Rubles. Thus, for renovation aims of the company there were appropriated funds in the amount of 6.3 bln Rubles.

Tax deductions and insurance payments of the Company to the budgets of all levels increased from 1.6 bln Rubles up to 1.8 bln Rubles.
