OREANDA-NEWS. Malaysia Airlines together with The Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur today announced their menu collaboration in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration at Golden Lounge, KL International Airport (KLIA).

The special Chinese New Year menu will be served exclusively to Enrich Platinum members and First Class guests at the Platinum Lounge in KLIA from today until 19 February 2015.

Guests will be able to sample three of the luxury boutique hotel's signature dishes from the Colonial Cafe including the Prawn Cocktail, Hainanese Chicken Chop and English Trifle.

Speaking at the event, Malaysia Airlines Group CEO, Ahmad Jauhari Yahya said, "We are delighted to be partnering with The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur as both brands carry the national pride. We hope to treat our guests to a gastronomic experience and celebrate this Chinese New Year early with Malaysia Airlines," he said.

The event saw Malaysia Airlines' Chef Hafiz, MAS Awana Chef Rohizan and The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur Chef Zaidi explaining the meals that will be served at the Lounge before guests were invited to sample the dishes.

Later that evening, Malaysia Airlines' Group CEO presented a token of appreciation to Chairman of YTL Berhad, Tan Sri Yeoh Tiong Lay.
