OREANDA-NEWS. Sales of passenger cars in Europe, including the EFTA countries, increased by 7% to 958,145 vehicles in February, by showing the growth the 18th month in a row. According to the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA), a positive result was recorded in most EU countries, including all major car markets of Europe - from 26.1% in Spain to 4.5% in France. As noted in the review of the European car market for February, among automakers the largest number of cars in the European Union was sold by Volkswagen the last month - 119,545 vehicles (+ 12.8%).
