OREANDA-NEWS. According to the preliminary data, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) international reserve totaled USD 2 452,9 million as of March 31, 2015, that is by USD 16,5 million less than the index of February 28, 2015.

The international reserve, converted in foreign currency, totaled USD 2 241,4 million, including that floated as securities - USD 1 545,9 million, as well as that on the accounts of foreign banks and International Monetary Fund (IMF) - USD 695,5 million. The amount of funds placed in SDR totaled USD 211,5 million, while reserve position with IMF totaled USD 13,8 thousand.

Since 2014, the NBG international reserve was decreased by USD 246,3 million and reached the historic maximum.
