OREANDA-NEWS. In February, Shvabe Holding won two tenders for the supply of medical equipment to clinics of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Under the concluded contracts, Shvabe will supply obstetric institutions of Bangladesh with medical equipment produced by Shvabe Holding enterprise Yalamov Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant, including: an infant incubator ensuring the effective resuscitation of infants with a critically low weight; phototherapeutic neonatal irradiators that effectively and rapidly reduce bilirubin levels in newborns with jaundice; neonatal tables with automatic heating temperature maintenance that create ideal conditions for newborn care.

"The delivery of neonatal equipment to the People's Republic of Bangladesh is the result of our regular work on entering new markets. In the middle of 2012, as part of the strategy of developing the medical sphere we completed an integrated delivery of neonatal equipment to the Republic of Indonesia, in late 2014 - to Pakistan, and now we have entered the market of Bangladesh. The production of all types of neonatal equipment provides an opportunity to supply perinatal centres of any level with equipment on a turnkey basis. All products of the Holding have been produced with the active advisory support of the Russian and European medical communities and comply with all international standards. Shvabe medical products provide the best care for people, they are relied on by doctors all over the world," noted Shvabe CEO Sergey Maksin.

For several years Shvabe has been developing partnership relations with the countries of South Asia, inter alia, with the Kingdom of Bhutan and Pakistan. Companies of these countries show an interest in the medical equipment and energy efficient outdoor lamps of the Holding. In addition, partners from India are interested in the joint development of promising optical systems.
