Striving to provide customers all over Latvia with even more accessible, convenient and secure banking services, Swedbank enhances its operational model by splitting the current Retail Banking Division into Private Customer Division to be headed by Ren?rs R?sis and Customer Service Division to be headed by Vadims Frolovs. Both of the new units responsible for customer satisfaction will report directly to M?ris Man?inskis, CEO of Swedbank Latvia.

Ir?na P?gozne, the former head of Retail Banking Division, will support the formation of the new units as an advisor to the CEO: “I’ve known both heads of the new divisions since they joined the bank and we’ve been watching their professional growth spanning fifteen years with pleasure.We’ve been working together for over a year, designing the improved governance model and new structures.I wish every success to the new management team members!”

Ren?rs R?sis joined the bank in 2000 as a specialist at the Assets and Liabilities Management Department immediately after graduation from Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and Stockholm School of Economics in Stockholm. Since 2005, he has been in various managerial positions both in Latvia and Sweden, with Swedbank Markets, as well as running various strategic projects, including the Hipot?ku Banka acquisition deal. For the last one and a half years, Ren?rs R?sis was heading the Sales and Service Management Department in the Retail Banking Division.

Vadims Frolovs, too, started working at the bank back in 2000 soon after graduating from the University of Latvia where he majored in Economics. Starting his professional career as the passenger car leasing manager, he rapidly developed his skills and accumulated experience specifically in leasing until in 2008 he joined the Corporate Banking Division and the for the last five years was responsible for serving mid-sized corporate clients. This experience of Vadims Frolovs will be a valuable asset in providing Swedbank’s customers with equal support in serving both private and corporate customers.

Both of the professionals will now form part of Swedbank’s executive management team which combines the bank’s leading employee and, together with the board members, ensures adoption and implementation of strategic decisions at all levels of the organization.
