OREANDA-NEWS. With more data and assets than ever going virtual, it seems a no-brainer that security should follow suit. With this in mind security vendor Kaspersky Lab has patented a security architecture for virtual machines aimed at protecting virtual environments without hindering their performance.

Kaspersky has received a patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for its Security Architecture for Virtual Machines technology, which covers the combination of a dedicated security virtual machine and light agents installed on other virtual machines within the infrastructure, according to Kaspersky.
