In the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Sberbank and the Customs Card company, the operator of the homonymous payment system, signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by Maxim Poletaev, First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank, and Andrey Barinov, CEO of Customs Card.

The subject of the agreement is the cooperation of the parties to expand the range of opportunities for foreign trade participants - residents of Russia in access to diversified banking and information services. Among the areas of cooperation are: the joint creation of banking products and services for clients of Sberbank, the automation of processes for participants of foreign trade activities during customs clearance of goods, payment of customs and other payments in real-time for clients of Sberbank. In addition, the parties to the agreement intend to create an information portal that will allow customers to receive relevant information on trends, features and innovations in the field of foreign trade and customs clearance.

"Within the agreement Sberbank and Customs Card will provide a range of logistics services via partners which will allow Sberbank customers to minimize the financial and time costs of customs operations - said Maxim Poletaev. - In general, the agreement aims to increase the role of Sberbank in the foreign trade activities of our customers."

"The implemented services will allow customers of Sberbank to stop the funds advancing during the budget payments and subsequent reconciliation procedures, - said Andrey Barinov. - They will provide an opportunity to naturally incorporate modern banking tools and technologies in the electronic document procedures during customs clearance".
