OREANDA-NEWS. Total assets of JSC Inter RAO - Electric Power Plants increased by 1.9% (4.8 billion rubles) to 257.8 billion rubles as of June 30, 2015.

Non-current assets reduced by 1.8% (4.2 billion rubles) to 222.2 billion rubles in the first six months of 2015, primarily reflecting the reduction of prepayments for construction and equipment.

Current assets increased by 33.6% (8.9 billion rubles) to 35.5 billion rubles as of June 30, 2015. The following factors affected current assets:
• Increase in cash and cash equivalent reflecting the optimization of cash flows and accumulation of cash to finance repair and investment programs
• 24.7% (3.2 billion ruble) increase in short-term accounts receivable primarily reflecting the reclassification of prepayment to JSC Gruppa E4 as short-term accounts receivable.

Liabilities of JSC Inter RAO - Electric Power Plants reduced by 2.3 billion rubles (4.4%) to 48.6 billion rubles as of June 30, 2015. This change is primarily attributable to repayment of debt to PAO Inter RAO for the purchase of fixed assets at Kaliningradskaya TPP-2.

Loans and borrowings of JSC Inter RAO - Electric Power Plants were 14.6 billion rubles as of June 30, 2015, compared to 15.0 billion rubles as of December 31, 2014. The 0.3 billion ruble (2.2%) reduction in the reporting period is mostly attributable to revaluation of the foreign currency loan taken to finance the construction of PGU-800 at Permskaya TPP to reflect the difference in currency exchange rates between June 30, 2015 and March 31, 2014.
