OREANDA-NEWS. Revenue of CJSC Nizhnevartovskaya TPP for the first six months of 2015 was 9.0 billion rubles, up 2.5 billion rubles (39.4%) from the same period of 2014. This change primarily reflects the addition of the third power generation unit in March 2014, resulting in increased electricity and capacity output, and larger capacity sales on the CDA market at higher prices than available on CCA and NDM markets.

Cost of goods sold increased by 38.5% or 1.9 billion rubles. This change is attributable to larger capital cost allowances associated with the launch of the third power generation unit and the 39.2% increase in gas consumption consistent with increased output.

Gross profit for the first six months of 2015 increased by 42.0% (0.7 billion rubles) to 2.3 billion rubles.

Sales profit for the first six months of 2015 was 1.9 billion rubles, up 47.5% (0.6 billion rubles) year-on-year.
