OREANDA-NEWS. According to the preliminary data, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) international reserve totaled USD 2 447,1 million as of July 31, 2015, that is by USD 36,6 million less than the index of June 30, 2015.

The international reserve, converted in foreign currency, totaled USD 2 244 million, including that floated as securities - USD 1 548,4 million, as well as that on the accounts of foreign banks and International Monetary Fund (IMF) - USD 695,6 million. The amount of funds placed in SDR totaled USD 203,1 million, while reserve position with IMF totaled USD 13,9 thousand.

Since the beginning of the year, the NBG international reserve dropped by USD 252,1 million.
