OREANDA-NEWS. National Rating Agency has affirmed its national scale 'A' credit rating on OLO DEL PERU SAC (ODPS). At the same time, the company has been assigned NRA's global scale rating of 'iBB-'.

The rating affirmation is driven by the company's continued business expansion, as evidenced by its 2014 and 1Q 2015 performance metrics; debt actually remaining unchanged from the preceding periods (which positively impacts ODPS's financial performance); long-term liability profile and stable relations with main creditors. The rating recognizes the company's ability to raise additional funds and refinance its debt, and the fact that its growth strategy implementation and project characteristics are in line with the earlier announced business plan.

ODPS's strong beneficiary owners with a propensity to provide extraordinary support and key managers with a considerable experience in handling telecoms projects managing projects, as well as the serviced area's good prospects are additional rating strengths.

The rating remains constrained by the company's early stage of development and considerable capital requirements. Currently, ODPS posts expected losses, which affect its equity and general financial strength. NRA will continue monitoring the compliance of the company's key operational and financial performance metrics with the project financial plan. The maintenance of the current rating level will depend on the monitoring results.
