OREANDA-NEWS. Shvabe Holding registered its trade mark in the Arabian Republic of Egypt in Cyrillic and Roman letters for 16 classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services.

In Egypt, Shvabe received unique rights for trading innovative medical equipment and high-tech geodesic equipment. Besides, the Holding can support scientific and educational projects, as well as provide engineering, support and marketing services in this North-African country.

"Egypt is a new market for Shvabe, however, it is not the first one in North Africa. The Holding is interested in enhancing cooperation with the countries of this region to fulfill export contracts for innovative medical and geodesic equipment. This includes, in particular, infant care devices - intensive care incubators, artificial respirating units for infant breathing and light treatment applicator. The most popular geodesic device among the Egyptian partners is a new theodolite which can be used to measure horizontal and vertical angles during topographic mapping, as well as to ensure correct and safe mining", commented Anatoliy Sludnykh, Shvabe's Deputy Director General for Sales, International Economic Activity and Marketing.

The Kingdom of Morocco was the first state in Northern Africa where intellectual rights for Shvabe products were protected. Consequently, in the course of implementation of the complex program aimed at the product market extension and promotion of innovations, the Holding is going to enhance the sales market for the medical equipment to the Eastern African countries, in particular, to Sudan.

Today, the Holding manufactures more than 200 models of high-end medical equipment. Within the last 5 years, Shvabe has been supplying medical equipment to 85 countries worldwide.
