OREANDA-NEWS. Skoda Company raised the prices for its best-selling models in Russia - Rapid, Octavia and the Yeti, which became more expensive by 2-3%.

According to "Rossiyskaya Gazeta", the lowest price of the most affordable car of brand, liftback Rapid, rose by 10 thousand to 509 thousand rubles. The basic configuration Rapid is equipped with 90-horsepower engine and manual transmission. The top version is equipped with a turbo engine 125 hp, seven-speed "robot" and it is worth 871,000 rubles.

Octavia in the basic configuration, which became more expensive by 17 thousand rubles, costs now from 833 thousand rubles, and the price of sport modifying RS may exceed 1.8 million rubles. The model is equipped with petrol engines ranging from 110 to 200 hp, 150 hp turbo diesel and three transmission options. 

The crossover Yeti increased in price most of all – by 32 thousand rubles. The vehicle in the basic configuration costs 967,000 rubles. Four-wheel drive version with a 152-horsepower engine and a "robot" will cost 1.3 million rubles.

At the end of eight months of 2015 sales of Skoda in Russia were 36,543 cars – it is less by 35% than for the same period of the last year. Best-selling Skoda in the Russian market during the reporting period was the compact liftback Rapid, which sold in the amount of 15,675 units (+ 68.9%). In the second place there is model Octavia, the sales of which were 14,770 vehicles (-40.2%).
