OREANDA-NEWS. Konstantin Limitovsky was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at Eurasian Development Bank (EDB). Mr Limitovsky will supervise the Bank's project operations in the real sector.

He graduated from the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation, specialising in banking and insurance. For over twenty years Mr Limitovsky arranged finance for corporate clients and large investment projects in Russia, the CIS countries, and Eastern and Central Europe.

He also worked in the area of structured finance for Russia's largest banks such as Alfa Bank, Gazprombank and Sberbank, including project finance, real property loans, and finance for corporate acquisitions and restructuring. In addition, Mr Limitovsky worked at international financial institutions. In particular, in 1999-2004 he headed project finance divisions at the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank headquartered in Greece.

Before joining EDB, Mr Limitovsky was the Vice President of VTB and managed its international project finance activities.
