OREANDA-NEWS. Software AG announced that Cognizant has won an Innovation Award for its excellence in digitally transforming and innovating an insurance company’s IT infrastructure to significantly enhance their customer engagement and operational agility. 

Cognizant was recognized by Eric Duffaut, Software AG Chief Customer Officer, who presented the awards at Innovation World 2015 conference, attended by 1,000 customers, partners and industry professionals from around the world. Winners were selected from Software AG’s community of partners, which best showcases their use of the Digital Business Platform. It is the second straight year that Cognizant has received a Partner Innovation Award.

Using Software AG’s Digital Business Platform, Cognizant cost-effectively transformed the insurance company’s entire supply chain to meet the needs of a modern omnichannel sales and distribution approach. Additionally, they simplified operations by trimming redundant and manual processes, while speeding up turnaround times and reducing error rates.
