OREANDA-NEWS. AvtoVAZ plans to keep prices for Lada Vesta at the same level within 9 months after the start of sales. Bo Andersson, President of AvtoVAZ informed about it Autonews.ru, by adding that he has forbidden the discounts to dealers for the car.

Also, the president of AvtoVAZ said about plans to export new products. Lada Vesta will be sold in Syria, Lebanon, Hungary and Egypt. According to Bo Andersson, there were already selected importers in these countries and currently the company is looking for partners in Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. In Europe, the search of importers is conducted. The top manager said that Lada Vesta was exhibited in the streets of Frankfurt, Barcelona and Rome and it has already received good reviews. "On export we have only one chance, so we choose the best partners. Success depends only by a quarter on the product itself, the other terms – they are the work of the dealer, service and spare parts", - said Bo Andersson.

Until the end of 2015 it will be produced about 5000 Vesta. In November, the company plans to introduce a modification of sedan on compressed gas. Serial production of Vesta began on September 25th at Izhevsk plant Lada. The exact price of the car has not named yet. At the launch ceremony Bo Andersson sounded just plug of cost - from 495 thousand to 600 thousand rubles. Full price list will be revealed on the day of the beginning of sales - on November 25th. If the car will be popular, annual production could reach up to 100 thousand cars.

In the coming months, Vesta will be available only with the Russian 16-valve engine of 1.6 liters capacity of 106 hp. The power unit will be paired with either manual transmission or a "robot".
