OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2015. Power management company Eaton today announced the launch of its catalog of high quality, innovative electrical components pre-assembled for contractors. The new B-Line™ series Ruff-IN™ solutions feature Eaton’s best-selling and most rigid brackets in pre-assembled solutions that are designed to provide lower total installed cost.

Ideal for new commercial construction, the pre-fabricated (pre-fab) electrical assemblies are now available via a user-friendly online catalog. The catalog features a total of 32 basic electrical assemblies capable of quickly meeting the requirements for a variety of contract-project or pre-fab shop applications.

“Eaton’s goal is to simplify the process for contractors, pre-fab shops, and installers to quickly obtain the electrical assemblies needed to keep their projects on time and on budget,” said Kyle Spencer, product manager, spring steel fasteners, for Eaton’s B-Line Division. “Eaton’s Ruff-IN solutions are tailor-made to help contractors maintain better control of their projects and work schedules while also affording them vital cost- and time-saving benefits.”

Each basic Ruff-IN pre-fabricated assembly consists of a box with ground wire, bracket, standard or adjustable plaster rings and is listed by Underwriters Laboratories (UL). The pre-fabricated assemblies are available with four of the most rigid brackets available on the market today.

Among the highly durable and innovative solutions included in the Ruff-IN catalog are Eaton’s stud mount bracket, open window bracket, and three-window bracket. The popular telescoping bracket — one of the first fully adjustable support brackets in the industry — is also available for applications that require increased strength and rigidity capable of withstanding the stress of drywall installation.

All pre-fabricated assembly quotes are provided in a simple, easy to understand format. Quotes include simple descriptions with which most contractors are very familiar, and include a picture of the assembly with a link to a submittal drawing. The clean and user-friendly layout guides contractors directly through the ordering process.
