OREANDA-NEWS. According to the preliminary data, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) international reserve totaled USD 2 448,9 million as of October 31, 2015, that is by USD 15,4 million less than the index of September 30, 2015.

The international reserve, converted in foreign currency, totaled USD 2 247,3 million, including that floated as securities - USD 1 516,1 million, as well as that on the accounts of foreign banks and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) - USD 731,2 million. The amount of funds placed in SDR totaled USD 201,6 million, while reserve position with IMF totaled USD 14 thousand.

Since the beginning of the year, the NBG international reserve dropped by USD 250,3 million.
