OREANDA-NEWS. Kirill Kuksov brigade of №4 division (headed by Aleksei Ognev) at "Komsomolets" mine of SUEK-Kuzbass produced 2nd mln tone of coal since the beginning of the year. Such results were reached for the first time in 85 years of history. On the same day the employees of the coal cleaning facility of the "Komsomolets" mine also fulfilled the annual production plan of 2247 tons.

The company managed to achieve such results through the implementation of major investment projects in the framework of a SUEK' long-term strategic program for the development of SUEK-Kuzbass' enterprises, approved by the Board of Directors headed by Andrey Melnichenko.

In particular, only in the last three years over 750 mln rubles were invested in development of "Komsomolets" mine. New equipment was purchased, a new building and galleries are built. The work cycle is now carried out with a closed water circuit, thus avoiding the impact on the environment by eliminating the dumping of sludge treatment.

The company made significant investments in the modernization of the transport chain, upgrading mining equipment, and equipping with modern security systems.As a result, the load on the working force increased to 8-10 thousand tons per day. In fact, in 2015 the 2 mln milestones was reached by the Kirill Kuksov team in 8 months - it took 2 months to remount downhole equipment from longwall to longwall - which is 174 units of Glinik (Poland) complex, SL 300 combine and SH PF-4/1032 (Germany) elevating belt.
