OREANDA-NEWS. According to the preliminary data, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) international reserve totaled USD 2 479,4 million as of October 31, 2015, that is by USD 30,5 million more than the index of October 30, 2015, told in the NBG.

The international reserve, converted in foreign currency, totaled USD 2 281,7 million, including that floated as securities - USD 1 558,4 million, as well as that on the accounts of foreign banks and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) - USD 723,3 million. The amount of funds placed in SDR totaled USD 197,7 million, while reserve position with IMF totaled USD 13?7 thousand.

Since the beginning of the year, the NBG international reserve dropped by USD 219,8 million.
