GAZ Group Delivered 105 Ecologically Clean Buses to Voronezh Region
OREANDA-NEWS. GAZ Group, a company of Basic Element , one of the major diversified industrial groups in Russia, delivered 105 buses made by Pavlovo Bus Plant (PAZ) fueled by CNG.
GAZ Group handed 105 PAZ-32054 CNG buses to the municipal authorities of Voronezh Region. The buses will service socially important routes of the region.
The small class PAZ-32054 CNG bus is built on the platform of the base model made by Pavlovo Bus Plant PAZ-32054 and is designed for suburban transportation. It is equipped with an Euro-4 CNG engine. The gas fuel (methane) is filled into 5 cylinders with 50 L capacity each, which ensures the range of u to 350 km. The cylinders are located under the bus underbody.
GAZ Group is the major Russian manufacturer of buses of all classes and applications fueled by compressed natural gas. The company was the first of the Russian manufacturers to develop and launch into serial production CNG buses. CNG buses are the most prospective direction in the development of public transport. The ecology friendly vehicles have an excellent payback period thanks to the low price for the fuel and reduction of operational costs. In 2014, around 400 CNG buses were delivered to Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Izhevsk, etc.
