OREANDA-NEWS. GAZ Group, a company of Basic Element, one of the major diversified industrial groups in Russia, delivered 29 buses made by Pavlovo Bus Plant (PAZ) fueled by CNG.

GAZ Group delivered 29 CNG PAZ-32053 buses to Ulyanovsk Region. The hand-over ceremony was held on the central square of Ulyanovsk City and was attended by S. Morozov, Governor of Ulyanovsk Region. The vehicles were purchased under the Program of transport system development in Ulyanovsk Region. The buses will serve the inter-regional routes of the region.

The small class bus PAZ-32053 fueled by CNG is designed for suburban transportation. It is equipped with a Euro-4 engine. The natural gas (methane) is filled into 5 cylinders with 50 L capacity each, which ensures the range of up to 350 km. The cylinders are located in the rear part of the body.

CNG buses are the most potentially perspective direction in the development of public transport. These buses are the third batch we handed over to Ulyanovsk region under the CNG program this year. In 2015, GAZ Group supplied 110 CNG PAZ buses altogether to this region.
