OREANDA-NEWS. UniCredit Bank took the 6th place in the rating of bank viability, according to the Forbes magazine. The bank scored 3 points out of 4 and was classified to the rating group B that shows high level of bank’s reliability and its ability to overcome potential systemic problems.

Position in the rating of Forbes is another confirmation to the bank’s stability and ability to meet its obligations.

The main criteria of rating compilation were capital-to-assets ratio, loan portfolio quality, owners’ support and risks, profitability and liquidity, payments continuity and systemic importance. For the last two factors UniCredit Bank received the highest scores.

27 most viable financial institutions were rated based on open data and financial statements published on official websites of banks, the AUB and the NBU.

In January UniCredit Bank was among top-5 most stable banks of Ukraine in 2015 according to Minfin.
